Deck the Halls- Day 1

Happy Saturday to you all! I know you’ve all seen the very pretty Christmas manicures out there. I know I’ve been very inspired and challenged to do my own 12 Days of Christmas themed manicures. So, here we go! This is Day 1: Deck the Halls.

I started with 2 coats of Ulta’s “Snow White” and topped it with one coat of Seche Vite to let dry. I then used plate BM-219- which is an all tips stamp plate- with China Glaze’s “Argo” (Hunger Games collection) and stamped one direction on my left hand and had to flip it- since BM doesn’t offer mirrored stamp images- on my right hand. I really liked the combo together. I then used Orly’s “Star Spangled” for accenting the bits of holly berries and added one small red rhinestone to each nail for one blingy holly berry. I am pleased with this manicure and I hope it lasts! Happy painting! I love seeing the Christmas manis!

Chevron-Rose

Happy Tuesday to you, Lacquer Lovers! It’s been a great weekend here, for me and the hubby. Labor Day was a nice laid back kind of day and we are thankful for the day off. Today’s mani is inspired by one I’ve often seen on Pinterest. You can click here to view the photo I was inspired by. I just didn’t have the right glitter (can you believe it?!) to add that accent. I plan on getting one soon.

I started with base coat and then with China Glaze’s “Rose Among the Thorns (Neon)”, I did a few coats on each nail. This color takes about 3 coats to be opaque. It’s still a bit translucent on a few of them. So it takes some patience. I coated my ring fingers with Ulta’s “Snow White” and topped them all with SV. I then used Sinful Colors’ “Black on Black” and plate BM-201 and stamped my ring fingers. I really liked the outcome. Very retro.

Orange Punch

Happy Tuesday, world. Another busy week has flown by. I did actually paint but I didn’t have time for posts. Tonight, I’m making time and staying up just a few extra minutes. I’m having withdrawls (sp). I got this idea from another blogger-polish lover: WorkPlayPolish. You can see her version (i love her color combo!) here.

Today’s post is simple but I love it. I find it girly and summery and I keep looking at them. I did 2 coats of Orly’s “Orange Punch” which really does look like it’d be a bottle of punch. I then painted my rings fingers with Ulta’s “Snow White” and topped them all of with SV. I took the largest (if not, one of the largest) dotting tool I have and dotted Orange Punch on the white ring fingers and then dotted the Snow White on my orange pointer fingers. Floral Friday

Happy Friday to you all! This will be a quick post. I wanted something girly and floral. So this is last night’s mani.

I started with 2 coats of Ulta’s Snow White and topped it off with one coat of SV. I then used Sinful Colors’ Black on Black with plate BM-224. I’m not really into this mani. I would have liked it better if the colors were reveresed. But… here it is anyway. Have a great weekend and God Bless!

Jaded again

Happy Tuesday to you, Polish Addicts Anonymous. I hope you had a great day! I am thankful for the Lord’s unfailing love. And right now, I just had to share that with you. (Lots of smiley faces in this post. lol.)

Today’s post is one from a few nights back. I usually take the pictures and post them that night, but didn’t get to last night. We’ve been night owls for almost a month now. We’ve both been tired and out-a-wack. It’s funny but it’s tiring. My schedule right now, as far as sleep goes, is very lacking. So yeah. I did this mani Saturday night and wore it Sunday and Monday.

I did 2 coats of Utla’s Jaded, which is a sheer green with a yellow shimmer powder and a duo-tone effect. I topped it with my SV. I then used BM-212, the “peacock” image is what my husband calls it. But to me, it just looks like little eyes everywhere. I stamped with Sinful Color’s Black on Black and topped it again with SV. And before taking my pictures, I smudged my middle finger. Grrr. You can slightly see it so I apologize for that one.
