welcome back to Lacquer Addictions! 🙂 It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to post! Things finally feel like they’re starting to wind down. We still have a lot going on, the Lord’s work never stops, but it’s nice to take a breather every few days.
Today’s post is a new color. I got my hands on a pretty, duo-toned Nicole polish. In the bottle, it’s a deep blue with gray tones but purple shimmers. One way you see the blues and the other you see the purples. I love it! I did two coats on all of my nails. Again, in some lighting, you see the blue, sometimes it looks black, and others you can faintly see the purples. It was very hard to photograph. I then did one coat of one of Essie’s “luxe effects” polishes- Shine of the Times. I didn’t like the whole thing in flakes so I opted for an accent of the flakes. I went over that and left a small side of the flakes peaking through. I really liked the outcome. I then accented my thumbs with the same flake polish. It feels good to paint and post. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by! I definitely missed this. God Bless!
Hola blog world. 🙂 Today is Pink Wednesday. Today’s mani is a flake. I love it. My base color is Ulta’s Vintage Violet. I did 2 coats of this and then topped it off with a coat of SV. I love ulta’s polishes. Their formulas are always so smooth. This is a creme based polish.
I then decided to add my flake top coat Essie’s Shine of the Times. Be careful if you have this. The flakes are packed on the brush so you’ll have to dab some to get a pretty layer without it being overwhelming to your base color. I did one coat of the flakes and added another layer of SV. I hope you like it! 🙂
Happy Thursday to you! Tonight’s post will be short. We watched a movie and I had a few minutes to try out my newly purchased (and oh, so awesome) flake top coat; Shine of the Times by Essie! Woo hoo!!! I’ve been trying to find a pretty flake polish. But what’s better than a top coat to make any polish flakey? I love Essie for their awesome top coats! Did my base coat. This color, by Ulta, is called Wild Night. It’s a very deep, deep blue. It almost looks black. It’s a beautiful color. I did 2 coats and topped it off with one coat (more like swipes) of the flake top coat. LOVE THIS! I hope you do too! Essie just made my day. 🙂
