Happy Friday! I am thankful to say that I am off today. Woo Hoo! So, last night I took off my polish and tried a new color. This is Sinful Colors’ “Leap Flog”. I have to say that I really liked this color on my skin. It’s really hard for me to get colors that compliment my skin tone rather than make it look darker or really make the red undertones come up. That’s no fun. But this color does me good.
As I said on Monday, my nail broke and once one of them breaks, I have to file them all down so they grow evenly. I hate uneven nails. I just can’t do it. So, they are super short. But, short nails can be cute too… if I didn’t have such a bad habit of picking at the sides of my nails. I have been moisturizing like crazy but with my naturally super dry skin (I have eczema) it’s hard. But I love to paint so oh well. So, please forgive any icks and ews you may see here. 🙂
I did 2 coats and then let dry. I then used stamp plate BM-204. I’ve never used this image before and thought since Fall just rolled around, I’d use it, even though I didn’t use “fall” colors. My stamping colors were Wet’N’Wild’s “Metallica” and Sinful Colors’ “Black on Black”. I first did a stroke of Metallica and right below that, a stroke of Black on Black. I scraped once and a few more times to blend the colors. I really like the outcome of this! I will be doing more duo-color stamping. Yay! I hope you like it! thank you for stopping by for another posting of Lacquer Addictions! I’m so happy you’re here!
Happy Friday lacquer lovers! It’s been forever! My birthday was on Wednesday and I had get togethers all week. Believe it or not, my nails have actually been naked allllll week! I haven’t painted since… before last friday. Well for my birthday, one of my little sisters gave me new polish! Eeks!!! 😀 She gave me two magnetics and one essie-which I saw at a store we went to. Thank you, Shannon! So I’m swatching one of those magnetics. yay!!!
This one is called Force Field, by Sinful Colors. It’s a nice green. It comes with a small tag with instructions- 1.) base coat, dry 2.) one coat color, dry 3.) apply second coat. before it dries, hold magnet over nail for 18 seconds. and… IT WORKED! lol. 🙂 i loved it! My right hand was being funky, though. I redid it once after not liking it (especially compared to my left hand) and my pinky still came out flickted. lol. Also, you’re suppose to make sure it’s dry before adding topcoat. Of course, i’m impatient and it smeared a little here and there… but, here are my results. All photos here are with flash and one coat of SV. Thank you for stopping by. You make my day! God Bless!
Happy Tuesday to you! I hope your day is going well. I haven’t been able to post since our computer is on the verge of running out of memory and was at the dr. office. My husband is a graphic designer so… yeah. We had to buy more space. Hopefully it’ll be ok now.
Today’s post is of last night’s mani. I really liked this one. I used new Orly polishes. I started with two coats of “Green Apple” and topped it with SV. I then used “Green With Envy” (which is not an envy color to me, at all) to sponge. Of course, you should always blend so I used a little more of the Green Apple. I did another coat of SV and using Sinful Color’s “Snow Me White”, I stamped with plate BM-209 and topped with SV. I hope you like it! It’s very fun! Both of these photos are with flash. 🙂 Have a great one! God Bless and thanks for stopping by!
I’m going to get her whole collection out there! This post is for the third polish in the newly released brand of Funky Nails polish. This collection is called “EVERY WOMAN”. You can visit her store by visiting her blog for the link at the top right corner. Just click on this link for Funky Nails new website. 🙂 Warning: **Picture Heavy** I really liked this color!
Here is the third “EVERY WOMAN” polish. This color is called Daring. “Daring is a seaweed green with green shifting to blue shimmer”.

Happy Friday to you Lacquer Addicts! 🙂 Today is the day that the Lord has made! I will rejoice and be glad in it! Amen! I hope you are off to a great start! Peace and blessings to you.
Today’s (first) post is actually being posted at 12:30AM. lol. I spent the evening with my husband, sisters and daddy. Painted one sister’s nails. Amazingly, her mani was almost an exact replica of my mother’s manicure. Like mother, like daughter. hee hee. She used Sinful Colors’ Rise and Shine and topped with a coat of Confetti’s Tazmanian Devil. Love it! 🙂 Here is her mani:
