So after not liking the first marble I ever did, I wore it for 2 days. Last night I took it off and was going to do a stamp mani but then decided I’d try to conquer this dislike of marble manis and their insanely complicated process. So instead of trying the 3 colored marble, I opted for 2 colors instead. I probably should have tried the simple way first but I was being brave. 🙂 So here is my second attempt at a marble mani!
I started off with my base color; Nina Ulta Pro’s “Lilac-ing Discipline”-a soft lavender color. I did two coats of this and let dry. I then started adding my drops to my water. I only used this color and Love & Beauty’s “Dark Purple”- a dark purple with blue glitters. I think I did much better this time at the dragging and making the designs. Still not what I’m going for but I feel I’ve made at least a small improvement. I also did not tape this time. I just dunked and did a major clean up. Taping off just takes a lot longer. So here is the mani!

One big challenge for me is the water beading on the polish after lifting it up. It leaves little rings. If you’re good at these, 🙂 , do you know a way to prevent them from leaving the rings/dots on your nails? Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend! God Bless!
Happy Wednesday! It’s bright and early! I am feeling a little soreness in my throat. 😦 I pray it goes away. But… I do hope that you have a great day!!!
I did my mani last night, as usual. My sister let me borrow her lovely “Mint” by Love&Beauty (a Forever21 brand). I love this green, but it’s far from mint. I wanted to do a stamp but then changed my mind as I was talking to my husband. It came out at him as, “*gasp*, I could do a green lantern mani!”. lol. And he smiled and said, “That would be cool”. The Green Lantern is his favorite in superhero stuff. lol. I have no clue about most of it but the movies are usually good, as far as superheroes go. Anywho, so I free handed my design. I haven’t free handed anything in a LONG time. So, it’s kinda sloppy, especially my left hand. lol. So excuse the imperfections. But overall, I like the turn out. And he liked them too. 🙂
Hello blog lovers. 🙂 I did not get to post yesterday’s mani. I’ll do that now. I used a pretty purple my Mother ❤ gave me for Christmas. It’s by Love & Beauty. This was my first time using this color and I loved it! It has tiny, tiny, bits of glitter that reflect blue tones. Very pretty. But it’s also very purply. My photos don’t do it justice but I hope you like it all the same. The name on the bottle is “Dark Purple”. I did two coats after my base coat and topped it with my SV.
Thanks for stopping by! God Bless! 🙂
Happy Thursday to you! I hope you have a wonderful day! Today’s post is Royal, a nice shade of blue. It was another gift for Christmas this year that I love. 🙂 Thanks! This brand is Love & Beauty. I believe it’s from Forever 21. Don’t quote me on that one. But, the polish went on very smooth and is very pigmented. Another plus.
Of course, I did my base coat, pushed my cuticles back, and applied 2 coats of Royal. I then applied a glitter top coat I have by Wet’n’Wild called Kaleidoscope. This added a nice touch. I’m not big on glitter but I thought, why not? I then topped that with my Essie Matte About You. I like this enough, but it looked better in my head when I started. Anywho, I learn as I go. I hope you like the color at least. It’s lovely. 🙂 God Bless and thanks for stopping by!
