So after not liking the first marble I ever did, I wore it for 2 days. Last night I took it off and was going to do a stamp mani but then decided I’d try to conquer this dislike of marble manis and their insanely complicated process. So instead of trying the 3 colored marble, I opted for 2 colors instead. I probably should have tried the simple way first but I was being brave. 🙂 So here is my second attempt at a marble mani!
I started off with my base color; Nina Ulta Pro’s “Lilac-ing Discipline”-a soft lavender color. I did two coats of this and let dry. I then started adding my drops to my water. I only used this color and Love & Beauty’s “Dark Purple”- a dark purple with blue glitters. I think I did much better this time at the dragging and making the designs. Still not what I’m going for but I feel I’ve made at least a small improvement. I also did not tape this time. I just dunked and did a major clean up. Taping off just takes a lot longer. So here is the mani!

One big challenge for me is the water beading on the polish after lifting it up. It leaves little rings. If you’re good at these, 🙂 , do you know a way to prevent them from leaving the rings/dots on your nails? Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend! God Bless!
3 down, 2 to go! 🙂 Here is the fourth polish in the Funky Nails “EVERY WOMAN” collection. This color was hard for my camera to pick up. It looks black in the photos but in one of them, you can see the bottle color. On my nails, it came out very deep. But still very pretty. 🙂 I hope you like it! Go visit Funky Nails for her blog and store site!
The fourth color in the EVERY WOMAN collection is called Diva. “Diva is a black purple with purple and red shimmer.”

Happy Wednesday to you! 🙂 This will be a quick post. I sponged this mani last night. I wanted something floral and girly. So I used China Glaze’s “Naked”. It’s such a pretty pink, reminds me of the crayola “ticke me pink” but with glitter. lol. I sponged this color first. I then used Confetti’s “Belle of the Ball”, which is a nice pastel, springy purple. I always go back and use the first color to help blend the two together. It came out really nice. I then took my white “skinny” nail polish and did a “not so good” flower pattern on my ring fingers and thumbs. lol. But, I like it. 🙂 Have a great day! God Bless!
Hi everybody! I am doing 2 posts today, as you can see. My first was yesterday’s color and this post is for today’s color, which I did last night. I am behind in posting since my sleeping schedule has been all wacky and we’re always so busy. Right now is much needed down time for me. My husband is out for a bit and so the computer is free. 🙂
This post is one that is going to show off my newly purchased Spoiled colors. I’ve been talking with a friend of mine about the bold highlighter yellow everyone is rocking. We both say “I want it so bad”. lol. But we both have naturally tan complection, being of hispanic ethnicity. I’m always scared of how bad this bold and beautifully bright color will clash with my skin tone. lol. She recently encouraged me to buy a gold polish, which is another I feel will clash with my skin, but we’re stepping out! lol. These 5 colors are all neons! Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink and Green! EEEkkkssss! Pray for me to have courage. lol. That yellow one (being my favorite color) is really calling me. 🙂
Here is a photo of all 5 colors! Left to Right, Pink to Green:

I did two coats of the Kickin’ The Habit and then decided to free hand some accent lines. It’s been forever! It didn’t come out as good, but I love this purple! Thanks for stopping by! God Bless!
Happy Saturday to you all!!! I am back! Woo! It’s been a great week! Sorry it’s been a while since my last post. I started a new job/position this week and I’ve been super busy with my church and the youth group there. God is doing great things! My nails, again, have been rather neglected. I am struggling with weak corners and them chipping. Grr! I dont know WHAT happened, all of a sudden, now my corners break often. 😦
But… I recently found this one at Target for $2! ^_^ Clearance!!! Lol! The OPI-Nicole brand usually run about $7-8. woo! I was excited to snag this one! The application is really good! Goes on opaque. I wanted more glitter so I did 2 coats and one coat of SV. It’s a maroon/purple color with glitters that go from gold to bronze, some orange. Such a pretty color! I hope you like it!
All these pictured here (which is a lot since I could not make up my mind) are without flash! Thanks for stopping by! God Bless and have a “grape” weekend! ^_^
