HI!!!!!!!!!! I am back!!! 😀 thank you for your patience. I’ve been crazy busy and uploading all the pictures again takes some time to do.
I’ve still been painting my nails, just not as much due to the craziness of our schedule lately. We’ve also been getting ready for my little sister’s high school graduation. 🙂
This mani is awesome! l Not boasting in skills, but the color! I love this color combo! It reminded me of Iron Man. lol. The base is Sally Hansen’s “Golden-I” and I stamped using BM-210, with Orly’s “Naughty” which on the gold showed up much lighter than bottle or regular application. I hope you like them!
Happy Sunday to you! 🙂 Today is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it!
Today’s post is one of joy and gratitude. My heart is so full today! This is my first all dotted mani, ever! I have to say it was a challenge, especially trying to line up my dots. Some of them wound up touching. eek. lol. But overall, for my first try, I really like this one. I hope you do too.
I started with 2 coats of my Sinful Colors “Snow Me White” and topped it with one coat of SV. I picked up my tool and went to work! I topped it off with one last coat of SV. I’m adding a photo of all the colors together with my “color wheel” and tool. The names are listed on the bottles’ tops in white. You may have to zoom in. sorry. lol. Yay for rainbow dots! Have a great one! Thanks for stopping by!
Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday to you. I hope you had a good day. I’d like to thank my job for letting me host a DIY:Mani program. 🙂 It was so much fun. Also, to those who made it out and listened to me ramble, thank you. I enjoyed it very much.
Today’s post is glitterized. I did this mani last night but wanted to FINALLY get a no-flash-in-the-sun photo. Tuesday I go in late so the sun was out and I was happy with my pictures. I usually do my manis at night so it’s always impossible for me to get a good picture without my flash. Anywho… my base coat is by Sinful Colors. I did 2 coats of “Fiji”. I like this purple. The formula is good but it is very sheer. I also forgot to wrap my tips (oops) so you’ll see that in the pictures. sorry. 🙂 I then topped it with Sally Hansen’s “Ice Queen”. It’s a nice blend of fine glitter and hexagon glitter. I liked the hexagon but not so much the fine glitter, as it was a bit bumpy. But once over my Fiji and SV topped, it was over-all smooth. This post will also have lots of pictures. 🙂 I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by. God Bless!
Happy Monday to you all! I hope today goes well for you. Monday’s tend to drag for me. I asked someone to pick a color, which has become a really fun technique. 🙂 She said red! So… I then thought about how many things I have not done with techniques or designs… the list goes on. I have a lot to learn and try out. One of those things being the GRADIENT! lol. I was very intimidated by this lovely technique. But, thankfully, it was SO simple and it came out great! I’m very happy with the outcome. I hope you agree. lol.
I pretty much just grabbed a makeup sponge, I have a lot, and using scissors, cut the bottom in two small pieces (in case I needed a back up sponge… you never know. lol.) and that was it. They were tiny. I will post the picture of my sponge. 🙂 I just did my base coat. Then I jumped straight into the sponging. I did the Red Zin first. It’s by Sally Hansen, the Complete Salon Manicure collection. Love this Red. It’s more of a marroon but pretty, nonetheless. So I base-sponged all my nails in Red Zin. I did two coats. I then sponged the Naughty, by Orly, over that, beginning at the free edge. I had to switch back and forth between colors to get my desired look. I was scared about the textuer. But then I did a coat of my SV and it was completely smooth!
But play with it until you’re happy. 🙂
