Happy Monday to you, world! I’ve not painted my nails again. After posting the Leap Flog mani I did not like my broken nail so I’ve not painted them. Instead, I’ll be posting a mani I forgot to post about. For the longest I’d see everyone doing the neon yellow mani. Boy, did I want to. But again, with my skin tone, I was hesitant and scared. 🙂 Then one day I just said “DO IT!” and I did. here is Spoiled’s “Did I Dye It Too Blond”. I first did one coat of Sinful Color’s “Snow Me White”. Neon yellows tend to be sheer. So after the white dried, I did about 2-3 coats per nail. I hope you try a neon yellow!
Happy Friday to you! I’m calling today’s mani FUN FRIDAY. 🙂 I’ve been thinking of all the neon things I’ve seen and trying to think of something fun to do with my new Spoiled polishes. I found one! I decided to try a gradiant with a stamp! I’ve seen a lot of neon bases, mostly stripes, with crackle polishes that let the pretty colors come through, I’ve seen a lot of them use tape as well to let the color pop in. All very pretty. I wanted to use white. I hope you like the outcome. I was actually wow’ed with how bright it came out but luckily, I like it with my skin tone! Yay! Let me know what you think!
I started with Sinful Colors’ Snow Me White as a base to help pick up the actual color of the neons. If not, you won’t be able to pull this look off unless you can find a super opaque neon. I let it dry. I then took Spoiled’s pink color called “Tip Your Waitress“, the orange color called “Jail Bait” and the yellow called “Did I Dye It Too Blonde?” and sponged one color/row at a time until I liked the color. I then used BM-224, which my husband referred to as the girly alligator stamp, and stamped with Sinful Colors’ Snow Me White. Of course, I always top with SV.
I did alot of clean up since the sponging and stamping always will leave a mess. Sadly, I forgot to moisturize before taking the pictures (I was not a home for my mani and was rushing to get here. lol). So sorry if you see the after effects of acetone. 🙂
Hi everybody! I am doing 2 posts today, as you can see. My first was yesterday’s color and this post is for today’s color, which I did last night. I am behind in posting since my sleeping schedule has been all wacky and we’re always so busy. Right now is much needed down time for me. My husband is out for a bit and so the computer is free. 🙂
This post is one that is going to show off my newly purchased Spoiled colors. I’ve been talking with a friend of mine about the bold highlighter yellow everyone is rocking. We both say “I want it so bad”. lol. But we both have naturally tan complection, being of hispanic ethnicity. I’m always scared of how bad this bold and beautifully bright color will clash with my skin tone. lol. She recently encouraged me to buy a gold polish, which is another I feel will clash with my skin, but we’re stepping out! lol. These 5 colors are all neons! Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink and Green! EEEkkkssss! Pray for me to have courage. lol. That yellow one (being my favorite color) is really calling me. 🙂
Here is a photo of all 5 colors! Left to Right, Pink to Green:
Tip You Waitress, Jail Bait, Kickin’ The Habit, Did I Dye It Too Blonde?, Permission To Proceed
I did two coats of the Kickin’ The Habit and then decided to free hand some accent lines. It’s been forever! It didn’t come out as good, but I love this purple! Thanks for stopping by! God Bless!
Happy Monday to you blog and lacquer addicts! 🙂 Today was a great day! I was super busy at work and the day flew by. Was going to prepare our dinner and my mother-in-law invited us for dinner. I was sure to let her know how happy I was that I didn’t have to cook. lol. So thankful for both of the moms in my life. God is good.
Today’s post was a result of “mani block”. lol. I had no idea what color to choose or what to do with that color. I hate when this happens. I saw the pretty glitter in Spoiled’s “Jewelry Heist” and wanted it. Then saw the springy and sparkly blue of Revlon’s “Blue Lagoon”, which I used just a few manis back. But I went for it. I did two coats of Blue Lagoon and one coat, 2 in some places, of the Jewelry Heist. I like the combo.
The pictures never capture the blue in this color. It always comes out too green or too… something. Doesn’t do it justice. Also, I didn’t notice till I was adding logos to my pictures, there’s some bubbling! Grr. Sorry about that. The Blue Lagoon goes on streaky so took about 3 coats to even it out. So with my glitter coat and my SV, it bubbled. Sorry. Let me know what you think! 🙂 God Bless!
Happy Sunday to you! 🙂 Today is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it!
Today’s post is one of joy and gratitude. My heart is so full today! This is my first all dotted mani, ever! I have to say it was a challenge, especially trying to line up my dots. Some of them wound up touching. eek. lol. But overall, for my first try, I really like this one. I hope you do too.
I started with 2 coats of my Sinful Colors “Snow Me White” and topped it with one coat of SV. I picked up my tool and went to work! I topped it off with one last coat of SV. I’m adding a photo of all the colors together with my “color wheel” and tool. The names are listed on the bottles’ tops in white. You may have to zoom in. sorry. lol. Yay for rainbow dots! Have a great one! Thanks for stopping by!
