Hello and happy Thursday! I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July holiday. Happy Birthday, America! Woo! I was suppose to do a tribute mani but lacked the time and motivation to do so. So… I may just do one anyway. It’s never too late to sport the good ol’ red white and blue!
Ok. So the other day I posted the Fast Track-Matte mani. Click here to view. ๐ I wore this for an interview. Yay! I really liked it. Well Funky Nails had given me 2 other glitter polishes I’ve yet to get to and swatch for her. (Sorry, Minnie!) So this post is the view of what I did to my nails that night after my interview day. I played with the “sandwich” idea. Here’s how: I had my base color, added one/two coats of Fatigues and let it dry. I then added another coat of Fast Track. I wanted to keep it matte so I added Essies’ Matte About You. It came out ok. Next time I will try a different combo. My Fast Track by China Glaze is on the thick side (the whole Hunger Games collection is, really) so I was scared the glitter wouldn’t show up at all. Trial and error. ๐
But anyway, here is my post for FATIGUESย by Funky Nails! Fatigues is part of her mini-collection called “For The Troops”!
She describes Fatigues as “Yellow, green, silver, black, gold glitter in a clear base”. I liked it on top of Fast Track.
